Immediate relief from the presenting problem: We will look at some of the symptoms of your relationship that are causing immediate pain.

Examination of your marital foundation: We will explore questions such as, “What is your marriage built on and what are your beliefs about marriage?” This is when we really examine more of the root causes of why your marriage is experiencing certain painful symptoms. We will also talk about what is and is not working in your marriage.

Foundation Building: The fun part and the core of what we will do. We will build the marriage you want, on a firm foundation that can withstand the highs and lows of life. It will also stand as an example of hope for other marriages.

Again, give us 12 weeks to get you back on the path you want to be on, a path of hope and love for your spouse. From there we will talk about the next steps that will be unique for each couple.

Some themes throughout our time together will be hope, encouragement, skills, perspective, consistency, compassion, authenticity, and grace.

Review: Sarah-Gayle with Hope Relentless Marriage counseling completely changed the way we looked at marriage. Being married for almost 18 years, our marriage was okay, but we knew it could be better. Within the constructs of a Christian marriage foundation, Sarah-Gayle knew exactly how to encourage each my husband and I individually, so together we could be better. The types of questions she asked each session were intuitive, perceptive, and she always made us feel comfortable. Sarah-Gayle’s approach to counseling is so much more than sitting in a room (or on Zoom) talking about the last fight you had with your spouse. Her 12-week marriage boot camp process has taught my husband and I new ways to communicate, appreciate each other, and even argue more effectively. She has helped us turn our marriage around completely. I would HIGHLY recommend her.

Review: Well if you are reading this for a review to decide if marriage counseling will help, you are half way to success! I came in as a total skeptic. After we opted for the 12 session package I thought to myself, “what could we possibly accomplish in 12 sessions with both of us talking? Aren’t people in counseling for years? Has no one seen The Sopranos?” What came next in only the first few sessions exceeded my expectations and I was all in. What we received from Sarah-Gayle resembled more of a road map with clear directions and learning objectives as we explored each session. For example, the session on rules of engagement in conflict was an absolute game changer in our marriage. When boundaries are put in place and agreed upon even for conflict, the “fight” is virtually eliminated which only leaves room for communication which also have their own guidelines to follow. The sessions on expectations, defining detail, and just coming to understand how our differences of how we operate affect each other was so gratifying and gave us so much perspective and gained appreciation for each other. I’m not even going to try and edit that previous sentence. I wouldn’t know where to begin, sorry. Truly, the 12 sessions felt like I was taking a Master Class. A Master Class in marriage relations that was interactive and tailored to us as we moved through the sessions. One of the early sessions my wife and I had squabbled the night before that spilled into the next day. The topic was brought up during the session and we began to rehash everything again. Sarah-Gayle took this very teachable moment and guided us through the quarrel during the session which had a significant impact on how we engaged in the future. I can’t thank you enough Sarah-Gayle.
